i should be able to see what friends i have online from the rooms tab [atleast on browser] , or filter rooms my friends are in. i should also be able to chat with my friends even if we are not in a game, i find often i get invited to games from friends that i miss because im in a game and i cant tell them to give me 5 minutes and vice versa i cant ask how much longer their game is. especially when im in a game i cant leave because of the karma system, if it gets declined by the people im playing with. the way this system is currently set up it does not encourage playing with friends enough and forces too much work because of UI on the player to connect with existing friends
