In the latest update the robber is now automatically placed if friendly is active and no one has 3 or more VPs. In one game it was auto placed right where I was about to build a town, and so disadvantages me if I build there, especially if that number is rolled.
Previously people could strategically place the robber where someone else was going to build. Now it’s up to chance, and potentially disadvantages players just to save a click.
