Undo button#13

There are moves that, in real-life catan, we would be able to take back, but can’t on Colonist.

These include:

  • placing a settlement in a spot you didn’t intend
  • placing a road in a spot you didn’t intend
  • placing a road with trees and brick instead of using the 2-roads development card to place the road
  • upgrading a city you didn’t intend
  • bank trades

Any of these, done before the end of your turn, should be valid use cases to undo. These cases aren’t open to abuse.

Per Catan tournament rules, this “undo” can only happen before the next action happens, not the end of the turn. Otherwise I agree… but it should be a short timer (5s?) and should end if another action is taken or the turn ends.

Sometimes I try to build a city or settlement but end up building a road next to it… It’s frustrating.

If it is limited to only undo the last placement/action and it doesnt give any time back to the player this would be a good addition. Especially when fat-fingering on a phone

As a person with huge fingers and a small phone i would love this option

Yes this would be great. The number of times I’ve accidentally traded for the wrong resource is infuriating
