when someone is awarded defender of the colony when it comes to the barbarians attacking (+1vp) and it isn’t their turn, they should still win if they reach the win# vps. They did not auto win, the only won on their turn despite reaching winning vps# before their next turn.
This isn’t an error. You can only claim victory on your turn. If barbs attack and you reach 13 vp but it isnt your turn, then the person whos turn it is reaches 13 vp, then they are the winner and you came in 2nd. And if they don’t, but the person after him reaches 13 before you, then they are the winner and you are 2nd. And if someone steals you metropolis, merchant, or road and you go back to 11 vp, when it comes back to your turn, you don’t win and the game continues.
